Join us for an inspiring and hands-on event exploring the powerful legacy of protest art and the role it plays in movements for justice. We’ll kick things off with a 30-minute dive into the bold, disruptive, and deeply moving history of resistance art—from the confrontational feminism of the Guerrilla Girls to the iconic imagery of the Black Panther Party, the raw energy of punk zines, and the defiant beauty of street graffiti.
Together, we'll explore what makes protest posters visually compelling and emotionally resonant. Then, you'll have the chance to channel that energy into creating your own protest poster—whether it's for a current cause you care about, a statement of solidarity, or a vision for the future you want to see.
No art experience necessary—just bring your passion, your voice, and your vision.
